EuRopEAn incubator for trusted and secure data value CHains

The Innovation Action project, which was selected for support under the leadership of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission consortium within the scope of the call opened by the European Union under the title "DT-ICT-05-2020 - Big Data Innovation Hubs", includes 21 partners from 10 countries. As part of the project, it is aimed to establish a digital hub to support startups with disruptive business ideas in various sectors such as retail, tourism, manufacturing, finance and insurance, media, healthcare, consumer support, transportation, energy and public administration.

Project Output

Secure Innovation in the European Data Ecosystem

REACH has supported more than 100 SMEs and transformed data value chains by creating innovative solutions enabling secure data sharing in the European data ecosystem.

Support and Financing Provided to SMEs

Business ideas of more than 100 SMEs were support and EUR 3.5 million in grants were provided within the scope of the project. Start-up selected through three open calls were provided with incubation, technical support and investment opportunities.

New Data Products and Solutions

40 new data value chains were established, 30 MVPs were developed and 24 data-driven products were launched as part of REACH. Furthermore, 19 start-ups received private investment and progressed on their path to growth.

Strategic Documents and Publications

Support reports were prepared during the project, including the REACH Innovation Action Plan, the European Data Market Strategy Document, and SME business ideas. Furthermore, a comprehensive incubation report on data security and innovation was published.
